You’re thinking of booking a session with your partner, and your possible fur animal and you’re not to sure what you should wear or bring? Here are a few tips I always suggest to my couples to make them feel ready as ever!

1) Outfit: Choose something you like to wear, and consider the weather if we are outdoors. I often suggest neutral tones if possible because they work great! This could be black, grey, navy, white, tan, olive etc. Or you can wear one neutral, one print. If you’re not into those colors, remember you can always wear what you want!

2) Check your tags! If you’re wearing something new, remember to cut them off. These sneaky tags can sometimes turn a great photo into a crappy one! Of course it can be photo shopped but it is very time consuming, so preparing in advance is best.

3) Accessories: Always bring an extra something; whether that is a hat, a scarf, a jacket, blazer or piece of jewellery. It brings variety and a little extra je ne sais quoi. If you’re celebrating a special occasion, why not bring some bubbly or your favorite snack?

4) Fur babies: BRING THEM ALONG! If you’re an animal lover, and would like your pet to be included, I will always say yes! They are all welcome. I’m all for doing a photo shoot that best represents your love and your life.

5) For engagement sessions: ladies – consider doing your nails or getting them done! Why? Because we will see both of your hands, and most often I’ll try to get a few close up of the ring. You’ll be happy you did it after seeing the photos. If you’re more of a natural gal and getting your nails done isn’t for you, no sweat! These are just suggestions.

6) Also for engagement sessions: This is a special time for your couple! Take the time to look amazing by doing your hair, and maybe even taking out your favorite or fancy outfit! There’s so much to celebrate, so let’s make it amazing.

And that’s pretty much it for suggestions, I’m always here to help if you need more assistance in planning. I want you to have fun, and keep the focus on each other. Remember to be yourself, and I’ll do the rest of the magic in making you shine!
